My name is Doreen Bridgman and I am the Cognitive Coach. I am a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with special interests in cognition and pragmatics. I have worked in the field of brain injury since 1987, specializing in the area of post-concussion syndrome for the past fifteen years. My work history includes the Center for Cognitive Rehabilitation (UMDNJ), the Center for Head Injuries-JFK, and private offices of Neuropsychologists. My experience with executive functioning and interpersonal communication skills has also allowed me to help students and adults with ADHD and learning disabilities. I will work with you to develop strategies in order to manage your daily life. Whether the challenges are related to learning, result from an injury or are a consequence of increased demands at your current job; the Cognitive Coach can help. I will work with you to set short and long term goals, identify your strengths, and develop strategies to manage the challenges so that you can achieve your goals.
